Daicel Safety Systems Americas, Inc. is a global leader in precision-engineered energetic devices focused on inflators and initiators. We're seeking experienced Manufacturing Team Members/Operators to join and strengthen our team!
Position Starts at 18$ Dollars per hour!
Shift Available: Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM (2nd Shift)
30 Minute Lunch & two breaks included!
Summary:
Our Team Member team focuses on ensuring that our automated machinery is operated efficiently in order to ensure the safe fabrication and assembly of our airbag inflators. In addition, they are required to familiarize themselves with our operating procedures and follow all safety guidelines. Team Members are the heart of our team and the motor of our organization. They drive the safe and high-quality manufacturing of our products!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble company products which may include the operation of automated manufacturing equipment in a team environment
- Work requires the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Specifications (PS) to operate and set up machinery and related systems
- Participate in continuous process improvement
- Keep the work area neat and clean and follow all established safety guidelines.
- Work within a team structure to achieve Company and department goals
- Strictly adhere to the company policies regarding attendance and punctuality
- Regularly handles hazardous and non-hazardous wastes generated in the manufacturing process
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess basic math skills
- Ability to work with small parts
- Capacity to communicate effectively in English with your team
- May also require forklift experience and basic computer skills

Additional relevant experience:
- If you have experience working with ZF, Honeywell, Dexcom, Toyoda Gosei Americas, Midstate Machine, Nippon Kayaku, Takata, Bosch, Lucid Motors, General Motors, and Autoliv. Your experience is welcome into our team!
- Experience in the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industry or previously as a maintenance tech, mechanical engineer, mechanic, or automotive tech are preferred but not required.
