Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of machinery, with an emphasis on precision and quality control. Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, flexo presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
- Perform setup and adjustments on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Handle materials safely and effectively, ensuring proper packaging for finished products.
- Adhere to quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including CNC programming and CAM programming.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Fanuc systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Ability to work with hand tools and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, with an understanding of materials handling and tooling.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus.
