We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Property Management / Front Office Assistant to support our property management operations and serve as the first point of contact for our office.
This role requires strong organization, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball. Success in this position means keeping communication efficient, tasks on track, and the front office running smoothly at all times.
*You must live in Rockport, TX to be considered for this position.
We offer:
- Salaried position: $35,000 – $39,000 (based on experience)
- Paid Time Off (10 days)
- Paid Holidays (12 days)
- Monday - Friday, 9am – 5pm work schedule (occasional after-hours work as needed)
JOB DUTIES
Property Management Support
Support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and communication. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leasing
o Respond to all rental inquiries within the same business day; enter new prospect contact information
o Schedule and conduct property showings
o Send and process applications, leases and renewals with consistent follow-up
- Maintenance Coordination
o Log and respond to maintenance requests promptly
o Coordinate vendors, tenants and owners to ensure timely resolution
o Track and follow up on all open work orders until completion
- Rent and Financial Tracking
o Accurately enter rent payments daily
o Monitor and follow up on late payments
o Communicate clearly with tenants and owners regarding balances and issues
- General Support
o Assist with evictions, signage, key storage, and other operational tasks
o Maintain organized and up-to-date property records
Front Office Support
Serve as the face of the office and ensure a professional, responsive environment.
- Answer and route calls promptly and accurately
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to general inquiries regarding listings, agents, and rentals
- Relay leads, messages and information to team members promptly and accurately
- Ensure front desk coverage at all times during business hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front office, conference room, kitchen and restroom
- Assist with office events and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of office experience (real estate preferred)
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Comfortable using a computer for daily operations, including email, data entry, document management, and learning new software systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must live in Rockport, TX and have reliable transportation (use of personal vehicle to run errands is occasionally required)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
