Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest areas are immaculate and that our cleaning protocols meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional cleaning services.
- Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to custodial practices and floor care techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used in industrial cleaning settings.
- Familiarity with floor care maintenance practices is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and other departments.
