Spearfish Canyon Lodge is looking to add to our team. We are looking for a Guest Services Manager. Main responsibilities are training front desk personnel and encouraging the upsell of rooms and packages. Maintain a clean and orderly front desk. Assist the GM & AGM with keeping employees on task and following Spearfish Canyon Lodge policies and giving all guests the best satisfaction possible. Experience with a PMS system is preferred but not a must as we will train the right candidate. The position requires weekends and evenings.
• Encourage and enable people to be autonomous and to use good judgment and common sense.
• Develop and train existing staff on new programs and company initiatives.
• Promotes a positive and productive work environment by working with the management team to provide clear communication and staff motivation.
• Assist in the development of work schedules to ensure staffing guidelines are followed and all business needs are covered.
• Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record-keeping procedures and practices in the gift shops.
• Perform front desk daily operations, such as checking individual reservations, check-out folios, direct billing, and room reservation maintenance. This will also involve scheduling and discipline of front desk employees.

Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
