Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Financial Markets Data Analyst with strong experience supporting Capital Markets projects focused on Market Data Feeds.
This role is part of the Information Technology Group supporting the Private Credit business and will focus on evaluating, integrating, and optimizing financial market data to enhance the investment team s workflows.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, S&P, Markit, Moody s, or Intex feeds, and will collaborate with technology and investment teams to drive data automation, analytics, and AI-based insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess a wide range of financial market data feeds to identify valuable insights for investment and asset management teams.
- Evaluate existing market data vendors and APIs and recommend optimizations or new data sources.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define business data requirements and project objectives.
- Develop and maintain data processing systems for efficient handling of real-time and historical market data.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to present complex financial data clearly.
- Support the development of APIs and data warehouse solutions for enterprise-wide consumption.
- Collaborate with market data vendors to understand product offerings and determine alignment with business needs.
- Explore and implement ways to leverage AI/Generative AI for automation and insight generation in financial data analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of total professional experience, with strong tenure/long project history.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst within Capital Markets.
- Direct, hands-on experience working with market data feeds and APIs from vendors such as:
Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, Intex, S&P, Markit, Moody s Ratings, etc. - Deep understanding of financial instruments, market data structure, and economic indicators.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced) and SQL (for querying and data validation).
- Experience creating data dashboards and visual reports in Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data architecture concepts (API integrations, warehouses, data lakes).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills clear, polished, and professional. (Candidates with heavy accents or unclear communication will not be considered.)
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Working knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML applications in financial data and workflow automation.
- Proven experience bridging business and technical teams in a fast-paced investment environment.
