What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Ops Spsvr position at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintain a working knowledge of Speaking Rock Entertainment Center’s Cash Operation policies.
2. Provides smooth, courteous and efficient service to employees.
3. Opens and closes bank for scheduled shift.
4. Prepares banks for Cashiers and other department.
5. Responsible for balancing monies received from different departments and cashiers.
6. Maintains a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events in order to advise fellow employees of same.
7. Generate audits for senior management.
8. Responsible for monies in all Vaults.
9. Provide Revenue Audit department, a daily shift audit report for all activity within Cash Ops.
10. Responsible for bank deposits.
11. Responsible for disciplinary issues within Cash Op's department.
12. Other duties as assigned by Cash Operation's Director and/or CEO.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Possess strong organizational and communication skills. Must be well versed in knowledge of Cash Operations Policies. Ability to handle multi tasks and prioritize accordingly. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to do all Cashier functions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED) preferred. Previous experience in customer service environment. Six months of cashier experience required. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Able to work late evening and early morning hours as well as weekends and holidays.
