About the AI Lab
At the Speakap AI Lab, we are developing next-generation Generative AI solutions to maximize value for our customers. We are a lean, technology-driven team working with cutting-edge AI and cloud tools to tackle complex challenges. As a thesis student, you’ll join us in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with LLMs and AI-driven applications, working on projects that directly impact our customers.
Thesis Topics
To support this mission, we are offering master’s thesis projects in three exciting areas:
Scalable Evaluation Framework for LLM Applications
Develop scalable, automated pipelines to evaluate hundreds of customer-specific AI assistants simultaneously.
Improving Multi-Turn Reliability of Chatbots
Investigate methods to improve chatbot performance in multi-turn conversations.
Reduce hallucinations and incoherence while supporting real-world, goal-oriented dialogue.
Nearly Real-Time Conversational AI (Speech-to-Speech powered by RAG)
Design a low-latency, knowledge-grounded Speech-to-Speach (S2S) conversational AI system.
Who We’re Looking For
Master’s students in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields who want to combine academic depth with practical, industry-driven impact.
Curious and analytical minds who aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions, experiment with new approaches, and push the boundaries of LLM and AI research.
Hands-on builders with strong research and prototyping skills who can translate theory into working frameworks, benchmarks, or prototypes.
Independent problem-solvers who thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment, yet value collaboration and knowledge sharing within a small team.
Strong communicators fluent in English (Dutch is a plus), able to clearly present ideas, results, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
