The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting efforts, focusing on sourcing skilled tradespeople, project managers, estimators, and support staff essential to our operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department leaders and project managers to assess staffing needs and create targeted recruitment strategies.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, trade schools, and industry events.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with apprenticeship programs, trade schools, and local high schools and colleges.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Track and report recruitment metrics to HR leadership and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and regional labor market trends, especially within the construction and mechanical trades.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Support onboarding and new hire orientation in partnership with HR and field leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the construction, skilled trades, or mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of the unique needs of field, shop, and office roles in construction.
- Proven success in high-volume or hard-to-fill recruiting environments.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws, hiring compliance, and workforce diversity initiatives.
- Knowledge of mechanical contracting services, such as HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
