What you'll own
- Priorities, not plumbing. Steward the CEO's calendar and inbox outcomes: prioritization, gatekeeping, escalation, and the judgment calls the agents can't make.
- Human scheduling. High-context coordination with investors, candidates, partners, and the team — the negotiations and relationships behind the calendar.
- A founder who runs nights. Defend deep-work time, sequence his days (and nights) sanely, and keep the rest of the world — which runs on daylight — synced to him.
- Travel and personal logistics. End-to-end trips, plus the personal-life logistics that keep a founder operating.
- Meeting prep and follow-through. Briefs before, capture and chase-down after. Things you touch don't drop.
- Vendor and expense support. Light ops: approvals, subscriptions, reimbursements, keeping the books clean with our finance help.
- 2–5 years as an EA, ideally supporting a founder or C-level directly at a startup.
- Discretion by default — you'll see everything: fundraising, hiring, personal.
- Async-fluent: crisp writer, great over Slack and docs, comfortable when your principal's hours don't match yours.
- Genuinely comfortable using AI tools daily — you'll direct our agent stack, not fight it.
- Calm under ambiguity; you build the process where none exists.

- Location: San Francisco preferred — remote works for the right person (the team runs night-shifted and async-heavy, so presence is about responsiveness, not a desk)
- Compensation: $135–155k base equity; health benefits
