Guest Advisor / Senior Guest Advisor - Spavia Minnetonka

Spavia Minnetonka is looking for a Guest Advisor to join our team. We're an independently owned and operated luxury day spa in Minnetonka, MN - and we're looking for someone who genuinely loves people, isn't afraid to start a conversation, and gets excited about helping guests discover services, memberships, and wellness routines that fit their lives. Depending on your experience, this role can be filled at the Guest Advisor or Senior Guest Advisor level - so whether you're building your hospitality career or bringing years of guest-facing expertise, there's a place for you on our team.

As the face of our spa, you set the tone the moment a guest walks through the door. We want someone polished and warm who treats every guest like they're welcome in our home. This isn't just a front desk position-it's a relationship-building role where creating memorable guest experiences and confidently recommending memberships and services are essential to your success.

This is a part-time or full-time position. Some Weekend availability is required, plus at least one evening shift per week. If you thrive in a people-first environment, enjoy connecting with others, and are energized by helping guests become long-term members, we'd love to meet you.

Pay & earning potential

• We hire at the level that matches your experience:
• Guest Advisor: $16.50-$18.00/hour base
• Senior Guest Advisor: $18.50-$21.00/hour base (for candidates with strong hospitality, sales, or service experience)
Monthly membership bonuses on top of your base
• - earned every month, paid on the 15th, with no review cycle and no waiting. Recent top performers have added $400-$490 in a single month, effectively raising their hourly rate by more than $3.50/hr.
• A monthly top-seller bonus on top of that
• Continued growth from there to Lead Guest Advisor, with base pay reaching up to $22.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a warm, polished, and professional presence
• Build authentic relationships that turn first-time guests into loyal members
• Confidently recommend memberships, services, retail products, and enhancements based on each guest's needs
• Consistently meet and exceed membership and guest experience goals
• Educate guests on our treatments, products, wellness benefits, and the Spavia experience
• Schedule appointments and manage phone inquiries with accuracy and enthusiasm
• Check guests in and out while processing transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, inviting spa, reception area, and retail boutique
• Follow up on guest questions and opportunities with urgency and care
• Show up as a dependable, positive, goal-oriented team member every shift

Skills & Qualifications

• This role is open at the Guest Advisor or Senior Guest Advisor level; placement and starting pay are based on your experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales experience strongly preferred
• Naturally outgoing and comfortable initiating conversations with new people
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving membership and sales goals
• Self-motivated, coachable, goal-driven, and dependable
• Strong multitasker with excellent attention to detail
• Professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
Weekend and evening availability required
• - Saturday shifts are mandatory
• Part-time and full-time positions available
