Summary

The Installer supports the installation team by preparing materials, loading tools, assisting with countertop installations, and learning proper installation techniques. This is an entry-level role designed to develop skills in handling stone materials, jobsite preparation, and install procedures while maintaining Spaulding Stone’s standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Check and prepare daily supplies, tools, and materials needed for installations.
• Load A-frames, sinks, and finished pieces safely and accurately.
• Assist Installers with jobsite setup, teardown, and cleanup.
• Follow established installation processes and instructions from the Lead Installer.
• Help position, level, and secure stone tops under supervision.
• Assist with applying adhesives, silicone, support brackets, and seam setting as directed.
• Communicate jobsite issues or material concerns to the Install Manager or Lead Installer.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and safe working condition.
• Follow all Spaulding Stone safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with homeowners, builders, and contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Willingness to learn and follow installation techniques and procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic.
• Ability to follow direction and work safely in fast-paced environments.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred (training provided).
• Dependable, self-motivated, and organized.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous construction, labor, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Regular standing, lifting, bending, crouching, reaching, and kneeling.

Physical Requirements/Safety Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Exposure to jobsite conditions, weather, and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours may vary based on workload.
