Spaulding High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated World Language Teacher to join our dynamic learning community, beginning August 2026. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about language instruction, committed to building strong relationships with students, and excited to share their love of language and culture. This position may be full-time or part-time.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Vermont 7-12 Language Teacher License or be eligible for a 7-12 language endorsement.
- Specialization in Spanish or American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience or interest in proficiency-based instruction and assessment.
- Experience with Infinite Campus a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports language acquisition.
- Foster a love of language learning and cross-cultural understanding using proficiency based instruction.
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress using a variety of assessment methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the World Language program.
