Spaulding Concrete, a recognized leader in residential and commercial concrete construction, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of concrete construction projects—from kickoff to final walkthrough
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations
- Lead coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews
- Maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking systems
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract compliance
- Conduct regular job site visits to ensure progress, safety, and quality control
- Support estimating and preconstruction activities as needed
- Facilitate team meetings and client communication throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in concrete or general construction
- 3 years experience in the field required
- In-depth knowledge of concrete scopes including foundations, flatwork, structural, site work, curb & gutter
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Job Tread, or similar preferred)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Must be a proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2 or 1099 Contract, depending on preference and experience)
- Hours: Monday–Friday with flexibility depending on project needs
- Location: Bay Area, CA (local travel to job sites required)
