What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Facilities Painter position at Spaulding Academy and Family Services?
The Facilities team at Spaulding Academy & Family Services has a 2nd Shift Facilities Painter opening available. This role will be responsible for completing painting projects to include prep work; performing routine and preventive maintenance and repairs for Spaulding buildings as needed. Individuals must be able to work independently and complete projects in a timely fashion.
Requirements are:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must have a valid NH driver’s license and driving record that will meet Spaulding auto insurance requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 4 years’ experience with painting, to include taping and prep work is desirable.
- Experience working with power equipment and tools and light carpentry experience is desired.
- Must be an independent worker with a strong work ethic.
Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Primary function will be to complete painting projects, to include prepping of walls, trim work, doors, ceilings in all Spaulding buildings, primarily in our school.
- Position may include snow removal; to include use of 4-wheel drive vehicles, snow blower; and hand shoveling as needed
- May assist in general office moves and/or renovations to include but not limited to furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc. if needed
- Other duties may be assigned to complete projects as needed.
- Participates in the on-call rotation.
Monday-Friday, 1:00pm to 9:00pm, occasional weekends maybe required to complete projects.
