Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute framing and structural installations accurately.
- Erect metal buildings, including framing with metal studs and structural components, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Manage construction site tasks including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination with other trades like roofing, mechanical and electrical.
- Read schematics and blueprints to plan work sequences; oversee or assist in construction management activities as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in framing carpentry with a strong background in metal building erection, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other construction-related tools.
- Knowledge of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively on-site.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to roofing, siding installation, and restoration work.
- Valid certifications in relevant areas such as OSHA safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and interpret technical instructions clearly.
