Position Summary
The Volunteer Services Coordinator assists in the daily coordination and administration of the volunteer program at SMC Church St, SMC MB, CMC, UMC, and other locations as indicated. The coordinator will attract, inspire, train, and deploy volunteers. The coordinator will maintain volunteer files and schedules and adjusts as needed. They will provide on-going training for volunteer staff and support the Volunteer Manager as needed. The coordinator will attend community events and recruitment events as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Associate's degree in business or BS/BA
Experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience to include customer service delivery and education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in community relations, human relations, administrative, and human resource functions
- Strong organizational and social interaction skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
License/Registration/Certifications
- Valid driver's license
