Minimum Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited and approved Nuclear Medicine program in addition to certification radiology or CT
- 3 years’ experience working in an Imaging Department
- Current CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine and current registry in NMTCB or ARRT (CT) or ARRT (R)
- Currently Registered SCRQSA (if applicable)
- BLS
Education
- Bachelors Degree or CRA
- 5 years experience in Nuclear Medicine Department
- N/A
- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of all testing procedures in assigned departments
- Coordinates staff schedules, supplies, and effectively manages expenses and budget restraints
- Positively responds and implements change when needed
- Manages staff training, competency, and disciplinary action with consultation of manager
- Implements and maintains departmental quality control, develops and initiates QAPI projects
- Manages imaging equipment regarding service, regulatory and accreditation
- Follows, maintains and helps implement hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Consistently communicates with patients, staff and physicians in a positive manner
- Knowledgeable of compliance and regulatory requirements and adheres to Federal, State, accrediting bodies, and standard practice of care for patients, staff, guests and facilities
- Proficient in computer related tasks and systems and be able to teach these skills
- Responsible for updating, maintaining and training new procedures and protocols
- Other duties as requested by manager
- May be assigned to cover additional shifts as required to meet departmental needs
