What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB Hospitalist position at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System?
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire OB Hospitalists to join a new and growing program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency / unassigned / OBED, call coverage and assist with the management of private OBGYN deliveries and GYN emergencies. Private OBGYN will manage their own post-op patients. New residents are welcome to apply.
Highlights of the opportunity include :
- Busy 14 bed L&D with over 3500 deliveries a year and 12,000 OBED encounters
- New OBGYN residency program starting 2025; will supervise residents
- Attend all deliveries, floor and cover 6 bed OB ED – 2 physicians in house per night
- 12 shifts per 4-week block; 7p – 7a
- In-house anesthesia coverage, Level III NICU with 24 hour coverage and MFM available
- Compensation package including :
6000 CME allowance
