- HDR brachytherapy for prostate and GYN
- VMAT, SRS, SBRT
- LDR GammaTile
- Rectal spacer procedures
- Spartanburg Clinic:
- 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
- Identify surface guidance system
- Elekta/Nucletron Flexitron HDR with Oncentra TPS
- Siemens Somatom CT simulator
- Pelham Clinic:
- Accuray CyberKnife M6
- Varian TrueBeam
- Siemens Somatom Definition AS CT simulator
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Medical Physics from an accredited college or university
- Graduate from a CAMPEP-accredited residency program
- ABR board eligible
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Master’s degree or higher in Medical Physics
- 3 years of clinical experience after residency in a robust Radiation Oncology department
- Substantial Varian TrueBeam experience
- Previous Elekta/Nucletron HDR planning and treatment experience
- Proficiency in Varian Aria R&V and Eclipse treatment planning
- ABR or ABMP Certification
- Provide clinical physics support to Radiation Oncology, including oversight of treatment planning and technical aspects of therapy
- Consult with Radiation Oncologists on special physics procedures and treatment setups
- Ensure calibration and functionality of treatment systems per national standards and RTOG requirements
- Assist with brachytherapy implants and HDR planning
- Conduct weekly chart reviews and verify treatment delivery
- Maintain operating procedures to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate on equipment calibrations and QA per DHEC regulations
- Support technology assessment, acquisition, and implementation
- Participate in research protocols and credentialing for external trials
- Provide clinical instruction to staff and support departmental quality initiatives
