Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping pets and their people? Spartanburg Animal Clinic in Spartanburg, SC is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our team!
With a rich history of serving the Spartanburg community for over 100 years, Spartanburg Animal Clinic is a trusted resource for generations of pet owners. We are a well-established, high-quality practice serving dogs and cats, with a strong emphasis on client education, preventative care, and fear-free handling. Our 2–3 doctor team is backed by a talented group of support staff who work together in a fun, professional environment.
We’re seeking a responsible, proactive team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our medical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily calendars
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle billing questions
- Maintain accurate patient records and enter data into practice management software
- Assist with general office tasks to support the veterinary team
Qualifications
- Experience in a veterinary or medical receptionist role required
- Experience with AviMark and/or ezyVet preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with computers and willingness to learn veterinary software
- Compassion for pets and their owners
