The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solar electrical work across residential and commercial projects.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solar electrical work across residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems (roof and ground-mounted) and battery storage systems
- Troubleshoot and repair solar electrical systems
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
- Test systems for performance and safety
- Collaborate with installation crews and project managers
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Provide excellent customer service when on-site
- Journeyman license strongly preferred
- Proven experience with solar PV systems (2 years preferred)
- Proven experience with battery installations (Tesla/Enphase experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- NABCEP certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification
