We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking DIESEL MECHANIC HELPER to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Helper, you will assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs, help to keep shop clean and organized, ensure tools and equipment are ready for use. Duties

• Assist senior mechanics with repairs and maintenance of diesel engines
• Operate power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and other equipment safely during repair tasks
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including tire service, fluid checks, and brake repairs
• Aid in the disassembly and reassembly of transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with diesel engines is preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge including automotive electrical systems, air brakes, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus
• Strong aptitude for using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or clients’ drivers
• Willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle systems repair and industrial equipment maintenance
