The Solar Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving the growth of our solar energy solutions by engaging prospective clients and guiding them through a detailed sales cycle. Reporting to the Sales Manager and Regional Director, you will be part of a large, dynamic sales team and responsible for managing client relationships, conducting thorough consultations, and negotiating contracts within your territory. This role requires occasional local travel and navigating long sales cycles, typically lasting from several months up to a year. This is a commision based job!
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new leads within the assigned territory
- Consult with clients to assess their solar energy needs and provide tailored solutions
- Deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting product features and benefits
- Negotiate contracts to secure agreements favorable to both client and company
- Maintain deep product knowledge to effectively address client questions and concerns
- Follow up with customers post-presentation to drive sales closure
- Manage and prioritize sales activities within the designated territory
