Screen Printing Supervisor / Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printing Supervisor / Operator to lead our production team in creating high-quality printed products. This role involves overseeing the screen printing process, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in, screen printing, embroidery, graphic design, and print production, with a passion for visual arts and technical precision. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily screen printing operations, ensuring production deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards
• Operate and troubleshoot screen printing equipment, including manual and automated presses when needed, check in ordered items for accuracy before processed.
• Taking orders from customers, reviewing and assisting in art for production, ordering materials, scheduling jobs, prepairing art for screens, inks, and substrates for all processes, pricing and quoting jobs for customers
• Review orders with customers for accurancy, review digital artwork, ensuring accurate color matching and printed correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Manage inventory of supplies such as inks, screens, and cleaning materials, along with equipment repairs, and maintenance.
• Train new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
• Conduct quality control checks on printed products before final approval, and delivery to customers.
• Assist in developing new print designs using Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphic design tools.
• Implement best practices for color management, layout design, and print consistency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in management and supervisory of screen printing operations or related production roles. Must be relieable and attention to detail, job requires a person that is present every day.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital art, typography, color theory, and visual design principles
• Ability to review customer requirments, and caculate process times, and pricing required to produce items, and quote customer.
• Understanding of print advertising, layout design, and illustration techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings or EMB files related to producing customer product designs.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
• Good communication skills to coordinate with designers, clients, and production staff
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to manufacturing environments

This role is integral to delivering exceptional printed products that meet client specifications while fostering a collaborative team environment focused on innovation and craftsmanship.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
