Nature and Scope:
The Account Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and acting as the primary point of contact for issue resolution. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented leader capable of managing team performance, training new hires, and maintaining operational excellence in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Strategy and Capability
· On-Site Leadership: Work in the office at least four days a week, maintaining standard hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
· Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all SOPs for Enterprise accounts, ensuring adherence across the team.
· Escalation Management: Serve as the first point of contact for escalations, resolving issues effectively before involving senior leadership.
· Team Coverage: Participate in weekend and night coverage rotations as required.
· Team Coordination: Schedule and lead weekly team meetings to drive alignment and address challenges.
· Employee Management: Assist with employee reviews, disciplinary actions, and ongoing performance management.
· RFP and Quoting Assistance: Support the team with Requests for Pricing (RFPs) and daily quoting needs.
· Monthly Operating Reports (MORs): Compile and provide MORs for the entire Enterprise Group, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
· Accounting Collaboration: Assist with accounting-related tasks and attend weekly accounting meetings as needed.
· Training and Development:
*Train all new team members, covering SOPs and operational expectations.
*Conduct monthly reviews of SOPs and facilitate ongoing training as necessary.
· Carrier Team Coordination:
*Work with the Carrier Manager and Carrier Team to maximize operational efficiency.
*Collaborate with the Director of Brokerage in the absence of a Carrier Manager to ensure seamless operations.
· Load Management: Maintain constant communication with relevant parties when loads lack carrier offers, ensuring timely resolution.
· Loss Approvals and Reporting: Manage daily loss approvals and provide end-of-day reports to the Director of Brokerage and COO with explanations for each loss.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in team management, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
· Strong understanding of standard operating procedures and the ability to enforce compliance.
· Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
· Flexibility to travel and participate in non-standard work hours when required.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in reporting and data analysis to support decision-making and performance tracking.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
