Overview
Spartan Landscape Development is a growing landscape construction company serving Placer County. We're looking for an experienced Irrigation & Drainage Technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a company that values hard work, accountability, and teamwork.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who can confidently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation and drainage systems with minimal supervision. Starting pay is based on experience and production. Candidates who can independently diagnose and repair irrigation systems will be compensated accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential irrigation systems.
- Install and repair drainage systems.
- Replace valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, timers, wiring, and controllers.
- Troubleshoot leaks, broken lines, drainage issues, and controller problems.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Document repairs and communicate findings to the office.
- Assist with landscape installation projects including bark, rock, grading, planting, irrigation installation, drainage, and general construction.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on irrigation repair experience preferred.
- Experience installing and repairing drainage systems.
- Ability to diagnose irrigation problems independently.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply, but the ability to communicate with homeowners in English is beneficial.
- Landscape construction experience is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
