The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist with heavy focus on franchise broker networks, franchise consultants, and industry coaches.


This role is highly relationship-driven and centered around creating an exceptional franchise candidate experience from introduction through final approval.


You will play a key role in building relationships within the franchise industry while also managing and hosting high-level discovery experiences that allow candidates to see Spartan’s operations, leadership, culture, and systems firsthand.


This is not a passive relationship management role. We are looking for someone who can build momentum, maintain strong consultant relationships, confidently guide candidates through the process, and create an experience that helps qualified operators fully understand the Spartan opportunity.



What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Build and manage relationships with franchise broker networks, franchise consultants, and industry coaches
  • Maintain ongoing communication and engagement with referral and consultant partners
  • Serve as a key point of contact for consultant-referred franchise candidates
  • Guide candidates through Spartan’s franchise evaluation and discovery process
  • Coordinate, organize, and host Discovery Days and in-market candidate visits
  • Deliver a high-level candidate experience that showcases Spartan’s operations, leadership team, culture, systems, and growth opportunity
  • Conduct presentations, discovery conversations, webinars, and operational overviews with candidates and consultants
  • Coordinate candidate schedules, facility tours, jobsite visits, leadership meetings, and operational walkthroughs
  • Help candidates fully understand the day-to-day operations and expectations of the business through firsthand exposure
  • Partner closely with leadership to ensure Discovery Days are organized, impactful, and conversion-focused
  • Track consultant activity, candidate progression, and pipeline performance within CRM
  • Attend franchise conferences, expos, networking events, and industry functions representing Spartan
  • Identify new strategic partnerships and referral opportunities

  • Highly relationship-driven and professional in communication
  • Strong at creating positive, high-energy experiences for candidates and partners
  • Comfortable leading conversations, presentations, tours, and in-person events
  • Organized, proactive, and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong at follow-up, coordination, and maintaining momentum throughout the process
  • Confident working directly with entrepreneurs, business owners, consultants, and executive leadership
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability



Experience Requirements

  • 3 years in franchise development, broker relations, franchise consulting, strategic partnerships, or related business development roles
  • Existing experience working with franchise broker networks and consultant organizations is required
  • Strong understanding of the franchise development and Discovery Day process
  • Experience hosting candidate visits, operational tours, or franchise discovery experiences
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CRM experience required
  • Experience attending and working franchise industry conferences/events preferred

Compensation

Base salary based on experience uncapped performance incentives
