The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven, competitive Business Development Specialist to help fuel Spartan’s expansion by identifying, qualifying, and converting strong franchise partners across key markets.

This is a sales-first role with real ownership—you are responsible for moving candidates through a structured evaluation process and playing a direct role in who joins the Spartan network.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Own and manage a pipeline of franchise candidates from first conversation through final approval
  • Drive consistent, high-volume outreach across calls, email, and virtual presentations
  • Lead structured discovery conversations to assess candidate fit, goals, and readiness
  • Deliver compelling presentations that clearly communicate Spartan’s model, expectations, and growth opportunity
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline with consistent follow-up and next-step execution
  • Accurately track all activity, notes, and metrics within CRM
  • Identify and prioritize high-value markets and strong operator profiles
  • Keep leadership informed on pipeline health, timelines, and expansion opportunities
  • Represent Spartan at events, discovery days, and market visits
  • Partner with leadership and onboarding team to ensure smooth candidate transition post-approval

Experience

  • 3 year in sales, business development, or a pipeline-driven role
  • Experience managing a multi-step sales process or structured deal cycle
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Franchise development or multi-market expansion experience is a plus

Compensation

$70,000 – $125,000 Total Compensation

(Base salary based on experience uncapped commision/performance incentives)
