We are currently looking for an Experienced CNC Lathe Machinist
Below is a list of requirements to be listed as an experienced Machinist.
For an experienced machinist: We are looking for someone that has the knowledge to program and run a CNC lathe (Fanuc controls). G code is a PLUS. May also be doing basic tasks on a manual lathe as needed.
Payday: We pay bi-weekly, so every other Friday your check will automatically be deposited in your preferred bank account.
Health benefits: Health insurance, Dental and Vision Premiums are 100% paid for employee after 90 days.
Schedules, Time off, Vacation, and Holidays : We work 4/10 hour shifts, overtime is available on Friday's. Leaving you free for the weekend. Benefits after 90 days: you will start accruing one week of vacation your first year and 2-weeks of vacation after your one year anniversary. Paid Holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Retirement Program: A Simple IRA program is offered with a 3% match.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Proficient Lathe Operation/Knowledge
- Programming (Fanuc)
- Tool Changes and Setup to Maximize Efficiency
- Measuring ( Calipers, Micrometers, Tape measure)
- Forklift Operation
- Machining & Trouble Shooting
- Accurate Paper Work
- Overhead Crane Operation
- Machine and Area Cleanliness
- Other Duties as assigned Experienced in a machine shop. 3 Years CNC Lathe operation preferred. Steel and large parts knowledge preferred. Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 75 lbs. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2 Yrs. experience operating and programming CNC machines
- High School Diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (Math, Reading, Writing) along with good computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and good teamwork skills
- Trainable and Flexible, strong willingness to learn
- Self-Motivated
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Skills
- Requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Driver’s License
- Must be over 18
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
