Yard Worker/Heavy Machine Operator/Forklift

Shipping/Receiving Yard Worker

Spartan Composites is looking for an energetic and dedicated individual for the Yard Worker/Heavy Machine Operator position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· This role will be responsible for loading and unloading shipment trucks.

· Preparing shipments for daily pick up.

· Ensure all inventory is accurately and safely stored every morning.

· Maintain an orderly, organized yard (cut, hedge, and trim grass)

· Communicate effectively with supervisor, office personnel and incoming visitors.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Must have 2 plus years’ experience in operating: Forklift and Telehandler, Wheel Loader

· Forklift Certifications are required.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

· Ability to work in outside, in inclement weather conditions.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Forklift Certifications

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces, shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.

· Must be able to lift upwards of 75 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
