Join a 40 year, community-rooted engineering and surveying firm where a small, high-caliber team (about a dozen people) delivers commercial site development and supports municipal and residential infrastructure. This new opening combines hands-on engineering, direct client engagement, and a long-term path to leadership and potential ownership.What a Win Looks LikeComplete site design packages—grading, utilities, drainage, and stormwater management—aligned with jurisdictional codes and client objectives.Integrate field data: coordinate with survey crews, interpret boundary and topo surveys, and translate findings into accurate plans.Produce clear, buildable drawings in AutoCAD (Civil 3D strongly preferred).Drive approvals: prepare permit applications, present at planning/zoning meetings (typically monthly), and incorporate review feedback swiftly.Build partnerships: collaborate with architects, contractors, and owners; conduct site visits to troubleshoot design and construction issues.Qualifications That FitBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.At least 5 years in civil/site development.Expertise in stormwater, erosion control, and site design best practices.Proficiency with AutoCAD; strong preference for Civil 3D.Thrives in a fast-paced setting with multiple deadlines.Clean driving record; available on-site five days per week.RewardsCompetitive salary: $110,000 – $150,000, DOE.100% employer-paid health insurance.3% retirement contribution (no employee match required).Performance bonus eligibility.Equity/ownership opportunity aligned with succession planning.Tools of the TradeCAD Software (AutoCAD; Civil 3D strongly preferred)Culture & GrowthWork shoulder-to-shoulder with senior engineers and surveyors who share knowledge freely and empower you to own your projects.
