Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 IT Technician to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-line technical support and assist in the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, with a focus on Office 365, email security, antivirus systems, and network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform daily administrative tasks in Microsoft Office 365, including user account management, license assignments, and mailbox configurations.
· Monitor and manage email firewall systems to ensure secure and uninterrupted email communication.
· Administer and update corporate antivirus software, ensuring all endpoints are protected and compliant.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, including performance, updates, and user access problems.
· Assist in network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, basic switch/router diagnostics, and Wi-Fi support.
· Document support activities and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
· Escalate complex issues to higher-level support as needed.
Qualifications
· Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
· Familiarity with Office 365 administration and Windows OS environments.
· Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
· Experience with antivirus and email security platforms is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
