What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Traffic Control position at Spartan Barricading & Traffic Control Inc.?
No experience needed, we will train! We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Working well with others and in a team environment is a necessity. Applicants also must be willing to work in all weather conditions, and also must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends when needed.
Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining and removing temporary work zones on roadways in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to ensure the safety of the public and those working in a construction zone. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading of equipment onto work vehicles, as well as maintenance and building of equipment as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently and repetitively
- Must be 21 years of age, have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must pass a DOT Physical and drug screen
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Must have dependable transportation
