About the Role
We are an independent service provider (ISP) operating under FedEx Ground. We are looking for reliable, motivated P&D drivers to join our growing team and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Norcross, GA.
Pay: $140 - $170 per day
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Mandatory drug test & physical exam
- Mandatory background check
- Must be at least 21 years of age
What You'll Do
- Pick up packages from the FedEx Ground terminal and deliver to assigned residential and commercial stops
- Safely operate a company-provided FedEx delivery vehicle (box truck or cargo van)
- Scan packages accurately using a handheld device at pickup and delivery
- Obtain signatures and handle special delivery instructions per FedEx standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent FedEx Ground standards
- Complete 80–150 stops per day depending on route and volume
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- No DUI/DWI convictions within the past
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Smartphone capable of running the FedEx Ground driver app
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous FedEx Ground P&D or UPS delivery experience
- Experience with handheld scanning devices and delivery route apps
