Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Omaha, NE, for a Logistics Specialist. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating freight operations, resolving shipping issues, maintaining vendor and customer relationships, and ensuring timely and efficient transport of goods. The role involves monitoring shipments, providing status updates, analyzing supply chains, and collaborating with the team and clients to deliver top-notch service.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Analytical skills for problem-solving, process improvement, and optimizing shipping solutions.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Export operations to manage and streamline logistics processes.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
- Proficiency in logistics or supply chain software and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
- Prior experience in transportation or logistics is a plus but not required.
