Sparrow and Kennedy Tractor Company's Moncks Corner location is in need of a setup technician. This job entails setup of John Deere equipment as well as other associated attachments and field implements. Applicant must provide standard tool set, but all special tools will be provided. This position will also include some equipment delivery.
This position is full time with the possibility of overtime as needed including some Saturday work. We provide benefits including paid holidays, vacation, 401K with matching, and health insurance to the individual.
Pay will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Setup outdoor power equipment and implements
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Proficient in equipment assembly
- Familiarity with schematics and electrical systems
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a dealership setting
- Ability to perform equipment repairs
- Clean driving record and ability to load and unload equipment
- Ability to pull medium to large trailers
- Basic welding and soldering skills are a plus
