*Note: this is an unpaid internship position.

Role Description

SPARQ is seeking an intern to participate in a program designed to provide comprehensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative startup environment at the heart of the emerging Artificial Intelligence Automotive Sector.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on, end-to-end exposure to how a technology company brings innovative products to market. As an intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to support high-impact initiatives that shape our growth and strategic direction.

You will play an active role in strategic planning and execution for an upcoming product launch, contributing to key areas such as market research, customer discovery, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—you will help analyze market opportunities, identify target segments, and support decision-making that directly influences business outcomes.

In addition, you will gain experience in core business operations, including process optimization, cross-team coordination, and risk assessment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a strong foundation in strategy, operations, and product commercialization within a cutting-edge industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic planning and execution for upcoming product launches, including timeline coordination and cross-functional alignment.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and refining go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including positioning, pricing, and channel strategy.
  • Analyze business and market data to generate insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
  • Support market development initiatives, including identifying target customers and partnership opportunities.
  • Contribute to business operations by improving internal processes, tracking key metrics, and enhancing efficiency.
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning across operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for internal stakeholders and leadership reviews.
  • Participate in ad hoc strategic projects and provide general operational support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or advanced programs in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including market trend analysis, social media platform management, and strategic content planning.
  • Experience in customer engagement, including gathering user feedback, identifying pain points, and informing product or business decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in startups, technology, artificial intelligence, or the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.

Notes:

  • The success of this internship position may result in the candidate being hired for full-time or part-time after the internship term is completed, upon the evaluation from the team you will be directly working with.
