Lead Developer

Job Summary/Company:We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Developer to help expand and operationalize a modern serverless security platform. This role blends full-stack development, cloud architecture, and emerging technical leadership. You’ll work directly with the CTO to build new capabilities, guide engineering standards, and support developers using the platform.ResponsibilitiesBuild & Expand Platform Capabilities: Develop new backend, serverless, and UI features using Laravel, Node.js, PHP, Python, and AWS services.Architect & Govern: Translate cloud and security architecture into clean, automated, well-governed code while setting standards for a growing development team.Developer Experience & Advocacy: Support internal and external developers by exposing platform features, answering technical questions, and contributing to roadmap discussions.QualificationsTechnical Expertise: Strong hands-on proficiency in Laravel, Node.js, PHP, Python, plus deep experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito).Secure, Modern Development: Background in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline), secure coding, and preparing codebases for pen testing.Communication & Leadership: Ability to clearly communicate with developers, influence product direction, and grow into a technical leadership role as the team expands.------------------------------------------------------------------This job is Fully Remote.Pay Range: Salary $100,000.00 to $300,000.00We offer several comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.Download the Sparks Group mobile app from Apple App Store or Google Play.------------------------------------------------------------------Sparks Group is an equal opportunity employer.
