Sparks Group has partnered with a growing startup company in manufacturing to find a Chief Financial Officer. As the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, planning and budgeting, overall financial performance, overseeing financial operations and working with the executive team on business strategy. While the role is strategy driven, at this phase it will still be very hands on with accounting duties. Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Collaboration: Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with company objectives and collaborate with executives on overall business strategy and financial sustainability.
- Budgeting, Resource Allocation & Performance Analysis: Create and manage financial plans and budgets, allocate resources effectively, and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Oversight of Financial Operations & Compliance: Perform and supervise all financial operations (accounting, reporting, tax, audit) and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- External Partnerships & Financial Risk Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners (investors, lenders, vendors) to manage financial risk and secure funding.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Experience working as a CFO or similar executive finance leadership role.
- Experience working in a start-up environment, preferably within manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- Have developed and implemented financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting being proficient in in analyzing financial date and metrics.
