Action Officer Job Summary:
Sparks Group is seeking an Action Officer to support a federal client in Arlington, VA. This will be a long-term contract position requiring you to have an active TS clearance and to work onsite in Arlington, VA five (5) days a week. To be considered, applicants will be asked to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI).
Action Officer Responsibilities:
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures
- Conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
- Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Action Officer Requirements:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4 years of equivalent Action Officer experience required.
- Experience with working with key stakeholders to understand and track project status, actions, milestones, schedules, and drive policy actions and recommendations.
- Experience utilizing tools for tracking actions, preparing briefings, and ensuring that a team is properly informed and prepared for participation in high-level meetings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to translate complex information into concise recommendations.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
