Must have two years experience in residential cleaning
Two weekends a month required
Must have drivers license, car insurance and own vehicle
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure all surfaces are hygienic and safe for residents
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, windows, and appliances
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other household items to maintain a pristine appearance
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing to keep floors in excellent condition
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely while adhering to proper techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and supplies while managing time efficiently to complete tasks promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines during outdoor work or when handling cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and proper handling of cleaning supplies
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely when necessary
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs
- Ability to perform outdoor work when required while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Prior experience in residential housekeeping or similar roles demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
