Duties
- Operate food processing machinery and packaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Follow detailed production procedures aligned with FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards in production and food safety protocols
- Conduct sanitation and sanitation checks regularly to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in managing inventory levels using SAP or similar systems, ensuring accurate documentation of materials and finished products
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals while managing safety standards in production
Skills
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety management practices
- Experience working within food & beverage production or manufacturing management environments
- Knowledge of food processing techniques, packaging, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for quality control and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and ensuring regulatory/legal compliance standards in production
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing manufacturing data
- Commitment to safety standards in production, GMP practices, and maintaining high-quality assurance within the food industry
