Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, hotels, or commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization.
- Execute specialized floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and tile maintenance to keep floors looking pristine.
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning process.
- Follow established protocols for janitorial and custodial tasks while adhering to safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning supplies.
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, including inventory management of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation standards.
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care (carpet cleaning, polishing), sanitation practices, and laundry operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products used in both residential and commercial settings.
