Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, conference rooms, and other designated areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed in accordance with company policies
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers when necessary
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial practices
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately
