Job Overview
We are seeking two dependable Commercial Cleaners to join our team for weekday cleaning at a Cass County government building in Walker, MN. This role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
Please note: Due to security requirements, some cleaning must be completed during normal business hours, while other areas may be cleaned before or after hours.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Combination of daytime and after-hours cleaning
- Consistent weekday schedule
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, countertops)
- Restock supplies including paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap
- Empty trash and recycling and ensure proper disposal
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all safety, security, and cleaning protocols required in a county facility
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check (required for county buildings)
- Availability to work some daytime hours
- Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning checklists
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage is a plus
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting)
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
