Job Summary
Sparkle Commercial Cleaning is growing, and we are seeking new faces to join our team! We are a small local business that services most of Southern Maine. The right candidate(s) must represent themselves professionally, must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task and be able to work with a team as well as independently. Experience is preferred but we encourage those without to still apply.
*This position does require travel, so a valid driver license and reliable vehicle is are required. Travel to various client locations across Southern Maine ( Cumberland and York Counties)
*This position requires dependability, reliability and the requirement to adhere to a set schedule from May-Oct. including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Duties included but are not limited:
- Clean businesses, office locations or short-term rental properties
- Follow correct protocol to ensure a clean and orderly environment
- Keep tools and equipment clean, organized and in working condition
- Move reasonably small furniture as necessary
- Follow assigned tasks and checklists
- Report to manager for ALL needs
- Attend staff meetings as needed
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Skills
- MUST have Reliable transportation
- MUST have some weekend availability
- MUST be able to pass a background check
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
