Job Summary
Sparkie’s Breakfast is seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, supporting smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing supplies.
- Support kitchen staff in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with general cleaning duties within the restaurant, including floors and work surfaces.
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with serving as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work during busy hours, including weekends or special events if needed.
