Key Responsibilities
- Model Building & Design: Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, complex calculations, dashboards, and user experience (UX) pages, applying best practices (e.g., DISCO methodology) to ensure scalability.
- Requirements Translation: Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to turn user stories and financial planning requirements into functional, optimized technical models.
- Data Integration & Management: Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot data integration pipelines (e.g., Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or Pigment integrations) from ERPs/CRMs like NetSuite, Salesforce, or SAP.
- Support & Optimization: Provide second-level technical support, resolve performance issues, manage user security, and maintain technical documentation.
- User Training & Enablement: Develop training materials and guide business users on new functionalities and best practices for using the planning tool.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on model-building experience within Anaplan or Pigment, preferably supporting FP&A or Sales Finance functions.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Proficiency in multidimensional modeling, SQL, and data manipulation.
- Certification: Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3) or equivalent Pigment experience is highly preferred.
- Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of FP&A processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, revenue modeling, headcount planning).
- Tooling: Strong Excel modeling skills required; experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to simplify complex business problems into structured data models.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills for partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Focused on data validation, accuracy, and technical debt resolution.
