Position: Electrical Assembler

Position Summary:
The Electrical Assembler’s role is to assist in the production of complex OEM equipment by assembling and installing electrical panels, harnesses and components in accordance with drawings, schematics, assembly instructions and parts lists. The Electrical Assembler will position electrical components and subassemblies to a main equipment assembly according to schematics and prints using hand tools and power tools as applicable.
Position Responsibilities:
- Good technical knowledge of assembly tasks.
- Possess great manual dexterity.
- Ability to read instructions, manuals, drawings, schematics, etc.
- Ability to work precisely and accurately.
- Capable of inspecting own work for thoroughness and quality.
- Ability to follow verbal instruction.
- Willing to work in a collaborative, fast paced group environment.
- Will maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Adhere to all shop safety protocols.
- Contributes as may be requested in any aspect of manufacturing or shop activities.
Position Requirements:
- Associates degree from technical school or equivalent OJT & work experience.
· 3-5 years work experience in manufacturing.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Assembler
- Technical knowledge and ability to read drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use manual and power tools
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Autonomous self-starter.
